BoP adjustments for LADA, Opel and Peugeot

A new Technical Bulletin has been issued yesterday by the TCR technical department; it adjusts the parameters of the Balance of Performance for the Peugeot 308 TCR, Opel Aatra and LADA Vesta cars.
The minimum racing weights of the Peugeot 308 TCR and Opel Astra have been subjected to an increase of 20 and 10 kilos respectively; as a consequence the Peugeot will now run at 1305kg (previously 1285) and the Opel at 1325 (previously at 1315).
On the contrary, the LADA Vesta benefits from a reduction of 20 kilos, from 1355 to 1335.
The appendix to the bulletin lists the changes of the Maximum Boost Pressure and Engine Rotation imposed parameters for Audi, Cupra/SEAT, Honda, Peugeot and Volkswagen models.
This BoP is for immediate application, starting from this weekend’s events: TCR Europe at Assen, TCR Germany at Zandvoort and TCR Scandinavia at Karlskoga.
An additional Technical Bulletin clarifies conditions and tolerances of the method for monitoring the turbocharger boost pressure.
