Colombani and Ventaja to share a Peugeot 308 TCR

Gilles Colombani and Stéphane Ventaja will take turns at the wheel of the third Peugeot 308 car entered by Team Clairet Sport in the 2019 TCR Europe Series.

Colombani, an amateur driver from Ajaccio, Corsica, has just discovered motorsport. He made his debut last year in the French Peugeot 308 Racing Cup, and during the current season he will repeat the programme with the aim of fighting for the Gentleman Trophy. On top of this, for the pleasure of discovering a new car and an international series, he will take part in two/three events of TCR Europe: Hungaroring, Barcelona and – still under discussion – Oschersleben.

Ventaja, from Albi, is an amateur driver too, but with a few years of experience always at the wheel of Peugeot cars. A race winner in the RCZ Cup, he clinched the title in the A3 Class of the 2016 24H TCE Series driving a 208 Gti. Last year he won the Gentleman Trophy in the French 308 Racing Cup, which granted him the participation in one TCR Europe event. Ventaja decided to add two more, with the wish to fight against top-level drivers in glamorous racetracks. He will race at Hockenheim, Spa-Francorchamps and the Red Bull Ring.
