Comte in a Peugeot 308 for DG Sport

After a successful season in the FIA WTCR, DG Sport Compétition and Aurélien Comte return to TCR Europe fielding a Peugeot 308 car.
The Belgian Team and the French driver together had already clinched the TCR Europe Cup title in 2017, at Adria International Raceway.

“We need to thank Peugeot Sport for its trust and we are delighted to take up this new challenge in TCR Europe,” team principal Christian Jupsin commented. “The series has considerably evolved, welcoming a true armada of top drivers and teams. It won’t be an easy assignment, but we do know the car, the driver and we continue our collaboration with Jérôme Dadoumont as operational engineer and Lionel Hansen as technical director.”

The team is also looking for a second driver to team up with Comte.
“This programme came about rather late, but it won’t prevent me from attacking the season with full motivation,” Comte said. “When I face a competition, my goal is always the same: to win! However, we need to show humility, because the TCR Europe will be bringing together some really good drivers this year and it will be just as complicated as last year in WTCR. Nonetheless everything will be put into operation to succeed…”
