TCR Russia’s top runners Klim Gavrilov and Grigoriy Burlutskiy will join TCR Europe for the last event of the season at Monza, next week.
Gavrilov, who was in contention for the Russian title until the last race and was placed third in the final standings with three victories, has an appetite for visiting other championships. He had raced in TCR Europe’s 2018 finale at Barcelona and this year in Spa-Francorchamps, but he has also joined twice the TCR Italy at Monza – where he won the season’s opening race – and Mugello. He will be at the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS run by the VRC-Team.
Burlutskiy, who drives a Carville Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI, was classified eighth in TCR Russia, with two podium results. His best one was second in Race 2 of the season’s final event at Sochi. After the end of TCR Russia he took part in the Baltic Touring Car Championship’s finale at Pärnu, where he finished second in both races.
