The field grows to 26 for the Italian event

The field of the TCR Europe series grows to 26 cars for the third event of the season at Monza, where competitors will race twice on the fastest track of the calendar, on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
Daniel Lloyd (Brutal Fish Racing, Honda Civic Type R) has retained the leadership in the standings with a nine-point margin over his fellow Honda driver Mike Halder (Profi Car Team Halder), while Mehdi Bennani (Comtoyou Racing, Audi RS 3 LMS) is currently third, a further nine points behind.
The Audi cars have always been competitive at Monza and so Bennani and his young teammates Nicolas Baert - who won the first race in the previous event at Zolder - and Sami Taoufik are aiming for good results.
The same applies to the Hyundai and Peugeot drivers, with the experienced BRC Racing colleagues Dániel Nagy and Mat'o Homola leading the Hyundai patrol, while Julien Briché in the JSB Compétition Peugeot 308 is eager to follow up on his last year's victory at the Italian circuit.
The two races will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com, Saturday at 17:15 and Sunday at 13:00 (CEST).
