BRC Racing Team will run a Hyundai Elantra N TCR for Alex Ley and Gabriele Covini, who will share a car at next weekend's TCR Europe Cup event at Spa-Francorchamps.
The team currently leads the TCR Europe series teams' standings after a successful opening weekend last month at Mugello. Gabriele Covini broke the qualifying record for a TCR car at the circuit in the first part of qualifying, and followed this up with his first career podium in touring car racing.
Ley meanwhile claimed pole position and led from lights-to-flag, following this up with a drive from tenth to second in Race 2, and leads the drivers' standings going into the TCR Europe series second round, which will also take place at Spa-Francorchamps next month.
21-year-old Ley and 20-year-old Covini both have no experience of the famous Circuit Spa-Francorchamps, and so their entry in the new-for-2026 TCR Europe Cup is one mainly to gain familiarity with the iconic European race track ahead of the second round of the TCR Europe series.
In the TCR Europe Cup format, both Covini and Ley will share one of the team's Hyundai Elantra N TCRs across the two races.
Ley and Covini join the already announced Hyundai duo of Junesung Park and Junui Park, as well as reigning champion Jenson Brickley, who will make his competitive debut in a Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR with RC2 Racing Team.
The remaining entries for the event will be revealed in the next few days.
