SP Compétition’s Aurélien Comte left it to the final moments of the second and final practice session at the Vallelunga circuit to be the only driver to break under 1:40m in his CUPRA Leon VZ TCR.

Comte deposed Baldan Group by Comtoyou driver Nicola Baldan, who had just gone fastest of all with five minutes to go, after himself deposing the GOAT Racing Honda Civic of Dusan Borkovic, with three manufacturers in the top three positions.

ALM Motorsport’s Ignacio Montenegro led the best part of the first 25 minutes of the 30-minute test, late improvements by Borkovic, Baldan, and then Comte moved the Argentinian driver down to fourth quickest.

Franco Girolami was fifth fastest in his Monlau Motorsport CUPRA ahead of the ALM Honda of Ruben Volt and the GOAT Racing Honda of Felipe Fernández.

Levente Losonczy was the last driver within a second of Comte’s time in eighth.
