Franco Girolami (1^st):“I’m so happy! A big congratulations to Comtoyou Racing, they gave me an amazing car today, amazing! I made a good start, and overtook about four cars, and then at the end of the first lap I had the opportunity when Pepe (Oriola) and (John) Filippi made contact at the chicane, so I was able to make the move, and after that I was just focussed on the win. It was incredible to finish the championship like this, and now we’ll start working towards next year, but I’m very proud to have been with Comtoyou Racing and Audi Sport.”

Tom Coronel (2^nd):“We had a good race, consistent, clever, and stayed out of trouble. I would not have been P2 if they didn’t make such a mess out front. I saw Filippi, Oriola, I saw they were ‘hot’ let’s say, and that gave me the opportunities. I had a good fight with Files, it was respectful. With the Safety Car I thought ‘here we are all together again’, but it was a pity Girolami had a big gap as I wanted to catch him. I managed to pass Fred as I got a good slipstream. I like to race, I’m OK with the guys, a little tapping I like, but let’s say people were unhandy. There was a lot of touching which I thought was one of those last races – while I have no damage on my car.”

Frédéric Vervisch (3^rd):“It was great to be back and contribute a bit to the goals of the team; the teams’ title was the goal of the team, but also to help Tommy to be second in the championship. He was already pretty fast, and I just tried to not get in the way and gain some experience – not having driven in TCR since the last race last year. I’d like to say a big congratulations to Comtoyou Racing, locking out every title this year. That’s probably something that can only happen once.”
