BRC Racing Team returns to the TCR Europe series grid for the last two rounds of the 2025 season, bringing another rising Italian talent, Gabriele Covini, onto the grid.

The Cherasco-based team which runs the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour programme, returns to the TCR Europe series for the first time since 2020 with a Hyundai Elantra N TCR for Covini, and will form of the capacity 26-car grid at the Red Bull Ring next weekend, and the 28-car field at Barcelona at the end of the month for the season finale.

Covini will also receive tutorage from 2009 and 2018 world touring car champion Gabriele Tarquini for the two race meetings.

“I'm thrilled to be able to participate in TCR Europe," said Covini. "It won't be easy considering both circuits and tires are completely new to me. I'm preparing the best I can to be ready to adapt quickly to all the new features of TCR Europe, with the main goal of continuing to grow."

After a strong showing in the first four TCR Italy races, culminating in his pole position at Imola, it was logical to finalize his participation in the final two TCR Europe races.
