Ahead of this weekend’s TCR Europe event at the Circuit Paul Ricard at Le Castellet, Team Clairet Sport has confirmed that both Gilles Colombani and Stéphane Ventaja will return to the series for their home races. The same event last year saw the team win both races, with Teddy Clairet claiming victory in Race 1 and his brother Jimmy then winning Race 2 in their Peugeot 308 TCR cars.

Colombani finished third in the 2021 TCR Europe Diamond Trophy, ending the year nine points ahead of his teammate Ventaja. Both drivers are again entered in the Diamond Trophy at Le Castellet, with the category currently being led by Viktor Davidovski after class wins in both races at the series’ opening event at Portimão three weeks ago.

Both drivers will be at the wheels of CUPRA cars at the weekend, with Colombani in a CUPRA TCR and Ventaja in a Leon Competición car.
