Daniel Lloyd appointed the BoP test driver for Valencia

The TCR Balance of Performance test will take place next week, on February 12th to 14th at Valencia’s Circuito Ricardo Tormo. The Spanish racetrack had already hosted the BoP test in 2016.
Eleven different brands of car manufacturers will be represented at Valencia: Alfa Romeo, Audi, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, LADA, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, SEAT and Volkswagen. The programme will include Dyno checks and track tests.
Daniel Lloyd has been appointed as the test driver and will sit at the wheel of all the cars according to the programme prepared by the TCR Technical Bureau. The 25-year old Brit has built himself an excellent reputation as Touring Car driver and successfully competed in the 2017 TCR International Series.

“I'm looking forward to working with TCR to assist them in creating the BoP parameters for the 2018 season. I really enjoyed my time in the TCR International Series last year. I have a lot of experience with different FWD cars to help me contribute. Is a lot of trust placed in me by TCR and the brands involved but I’m certainly looking forward to it,” said Lloyd.

The test is aimed at finalising the BoP for the upcoming season; its results will be unveiled by mid March and they will dictate the BoP for all the TCR series worldwide including the new WTCR and for this reason, in Valencia the TCR technical staff will work together with their FIA colleagues.
