Following its illegitimate participation in today’s Q2 part of Qualifying, Daniel Lloyd was put back in 18^th position by the Stewards of the meeting. The Brutal Fish Racing’s driver had posted the third fastest lap in Q2, however it has been cleared that he was not eligible to take part having posted his fastest lap of Q1 seconds after the red flag had stopped the session.
This promoted Maxime Potty, Ashley Sutton and Aurélien Comte to third, fourth and fifth on the grid for today’s Race 1. While Dušan Borković and Davit Kajaia (tenth and ninth in the final results) will share the front row of the reverse grid for Sunday’s Race 2.
