Kris Richard (1st): “I’m very happy, for myself and the team! They did a great job and gave me a perfect car. I was able to benefit from my starting position on the front row and managed to pass Barr during the first lap. After that I tried not to make mistakes. I was a bit worried when the race restarted after the safety car period; I thought that someone could benefit from the aspiration to attack me. But I could defend myself and then managed to keep Briché behind until the end.”
Julien Briché (2nd): “It has been a great weekend for us, especially if we consider that this is only the second event in which we run the Peugeot and we are still in a phase of apprenticeship. Yesterday I had an issue at the start and was forced to recover, which showed that the car has a lot of potential. In both races I was attacking at hundred percent, I had fun, made a lot of overtaking manoeuvres and finally I’m happy with the performance.”
Maxime Potty (3rd): “We have worked very well during the whole weekend and my car was one the fastest from the very beginning. This was our home event and we have managed to exploit in a fantastic way! Second in Qualifying, twice on the podium in the races, we have scored a lot of points. I was involved in a number of fights today and I enjoyed; I took a good start and my car worked perfectly.”
