TCR Europe teams unanimously voted for a change in the 2021 Sporting Regulations that allows the drivers to drop two results from the standings at the end of the season.
Therefore, article 16a) has been amended, reading that only 12 results out of the 14 races will be taken into account for the Drivers’ Championship.
Instead, all the results will be valid for the classifications of the Teams’ Championship and the Rookie and Diamond Trophies. 

“We have proposed the change with the aim of helping the team to cope with the possible travelling restrictions that might be caused during the season by the pandemic. We are pleased to say that the teams have fully understood the spirit of the proposal and agreed to it unanimously,” promoter Paulo Ferreira explained.
