Josh Files’ Honda and Gabriele Tarquini’s Hyundai were the fastest cars in the second test session at Adria, just like in the previous session.
Files improved his previous lap time by 6 tenths and clocked a 1:19.913 that was 6 tenths faster than Tarquini’s 1:20.565. Giacomo Altoè (1:20.585) posted the third fastest lap that was only two hundredths of a second slower than Tarquini’s, while Luca Engstler ranked fourth (1:20.642).
After not taking part in the first session, Luigi Ferrara was clocked at 1:20.885 in the V-Action Alfa Romeo Giulietta and placed fifth ahead of Maxime Potty in the Team WRT Volkwagen Golf GTI (1:21:166).
Three other Volkswagen cars filled the positions between seven and nine: Florian Thoma’s (1:21.254), Francisco Abreu’s (1:21.564) and Giovanni Altoè’s (1:21.604).
Anti Buri rounded off the top ten in his Audi (1:21.762), he was followed by Aurélien Comte (1:21.771), 11th in the Peugeot 308.
