The Stewards of the meeting decided to impose grid penalties to Josh Files, Danny Kroes, Stefano Comini and Cedric Piro after today’s Free Practice sessions.
The four drivers were summoned following marshal reports for repeated infringements of the track limits.
The penalties will remain suspended during tomorrow’s Qualifying and Race 1 and Sunday’s Race 2; those who will be reported again will be dropped by three positions on the grid for the following race.
Viktor Davidovski will actually start from the back of the grid of tomorrow’s Race 1, following an engine change that was the consequence of the crash he had during the Qualifying at Spa.
