Jáchym Galáš is one of the four talented youngsters who has been named by Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing to be part of its Junior Driver initiative for 2021.
Now in its third year the programme aims for supporting young talented drivers as they build their motorsport careers.
Galáš, 19-year-old from the Czech Republic, finished second in the 2019 TCR Eastern Europe and third last year, clinching the Junior Trophy in both seasons. He will now step up to TCR Europe in a Hyundai i30 N run by Janík Motorsport in cooperation with the ACCR Czech Talent Team.

Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing Operations Leader Andrew Johns said: “The commitment to nurture young driving talent is a vital part of the Customer Racing department, and Hyundai Motorsport in general. We recognize that we can build the best cars possible, but we also need strong drivers that are able to get the maximum performance.”
