Italian team AIKOA Racing will expand to three cars for the season finale of the TCR Europe series, adding another Audi RS 3 LMS gen II for Giacomo Prandelli, one of the team’s drivers from its TCR Italy DSG series campaign.

Prandelli is a first-year competitor in TCR, having only joined the TCR Italy DSG series this year and has shown great progress already, with sixth and fifth place finishes last time out at Imola his season’s best performances.

Prandelli will be racing a sequential gearbox racing car for the first time in Spain, as he switches from the first generation Audi to Audi Sport’s latest model, joining team-mates Nicola Baldan and Filippo Barberi for the season finale at Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya on September 25-27.
