Jac Constable will make his TCR Europe Touring Car Series debut this weekend at Spa-Francorchamps, racing an Audi RS 3 LMS which will also be run by a new team to the series, JH Racing, with which he raced with last month in the TCR UK championship.
The 28-year-old was a frontrunner in the 2023 TCR UK championship, taking two victories and three podiums on his way to fourth in the standings, finishing just behind reigning TCR Europe champion Jenson Brickley, and just ahead of new TCR Europe signing Adam Shepherd.
Constable then sat out two seasons before making his return at Brands Hatch last month, winning the first race of the weekend despite two-and-a-half years away, effectively taking back-to-back victories after winning the 2023 finale at the same circuit.
The car will be run by JH Racing, which also run the car of the current TCR UK championship's leader, and the visit to the thrilling Spa-Francorchamps circuit will be a new challenge for both team and driver.
Jac Constable:
"To say I'm excited is an understatement. To be joining the TCR Europe grid is a huge moment for me and something I’ve worked towards for a long time. Racing across Europe against such a competitive field is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to get started.
"Ever since owning my Audi, I’ve always dreamed of driving it around Spa. It’s one of those iconic circuits every driver wants to experience, so to finally have the chance to race there is incredibly special.
"Massive thank you to everyone supporting me on this journey, time to make some memories."
