MM Motorsport will expand to two cars for the upcoming round of the TCR Europe series at the Misano World Circuit, adding 19-year-old Jacopo Cimenes to its ranks alongside series regular Marco Butti.

Cimenes currently competes in the TCR Italy championship with the team, and will also be in action this weekend at Monza in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour, where he’ll be fighting with many of TCR Europe racers who are also taking part in the event.

It’ll be his second appearance in the FIA TCR World Tour, after racing there last year in Vallelunga, but it’ll be his first time competing in TCR Europe.

Ahead of the upcoming double-header, Cimenes said:

“Compared to last year, I obviously feel more prepared, but in front of these motorsport legends I’ll have so much to learn. It’ll be a great training ground in view of next week at Misano, when I’ll make my debut in TCR Europe. There I’ll have Marco Butti by my side—a huge help and a stimulating benchmark.

“The European series this year is really tough, with lots of fast and very experienced drivers—almost like a mini World Championship. I can’t wait to get started—cheer for me!”
