South Korean racers Junesung Park and Junui Park are the latest team confirmed for the inaugural TCR Europe Cup race at Spa-Francorchamps later this month.
The two drivers will compete at the new-for-2026 event on April 17-19 in a Hyundai Elantra N TCR, run by Solite Indigo Racing.
It will be the two drivers second time at Spa-Francorchamps, after racing there last year in the second event of the TCR Europe series, in which Junesung Park picked up his first career podium in only his second weekend in the championship.
Rather than racing separate cars, the two team-mates will now be co-drivers of the same car, with the unique format favouring a pair of drivers splitting the driving duties over two races.
The Parks follow the confirmation that last year's TCR Europe series champion Jenson Brickley will be competing in a Honda at the event, with a number of key announcements in the next few days ahead of a strong entry list which will be revealed at the start of next week.
Junesung Park:
"I’m really excited to compete in the first TCR Europe Cup event this month. It’s always special to race at a legendary track like Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, so I’m really looking forward to it.
"I’d like to thank Solite Indigo Racing for giving me this opportunity. Of course, my goal is to fight for the win, but I’ll also treat this event as a valuable chance to prepare for Round 2 of TCR Europe next month."
Junui Park:
"As TCR Europe Cup is being introduced for the first time, I’m personally very excited about this new event. I’m also very happy to have the opportunity to compete in it.
"In particular, Round 2 of TCR Europe in May will take place at Spa-Francorchamps, and I believe it will be a great opportunity to evaluate my performance and identify areas for improvement on the same track as the main race.
"The entry list hasn’t been released yet, so I’m not sure which drivers will be competing. However, I’m fully focused on preparing to deliver strong performances from practice sessions through qualifying and the race."
Jae Woo Lee, Team Principal:
"The TCR Europe Cup is an exciting format, especially with the Pro-Am event. With limited testing opportunities this season, it’s a valuable chance to evaluate both the car and the team in a real race condition.
"We’ll use this experience to prepare for the upcoming TCR Europe round2, and as a team, we’re aiming to deliver strong and competitive results."
