Expert motorsport broadcaster Neil Cole will join the TCR Europe coverage for the thrilling upcoming finale at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as the championship looks to end its incredible tenth season on a high.
The series will have an extended broadcast package for what promises to be an epic finale, with live coverage of the qualifying session as well as both of the weekend’s races, which take place on an offset weekend on Friday evening, and Saturday morning.
Cole will present the event from the grid and also join as a pit lane reporter, bringing his familiar style and flair to the show. The British presenter has extensive experience from the top tiers of international motorsport, and is well-known for his work on the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA World Rallycross Championship, the all-star motorsport series Race of Champions, and also recently presented the 2024 FIA Awards in Kigali.
Cole has also worked in touring car racing for nearly two decades both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, working with the FIA World Touring Car Championship, the FIA ETCR - eTouring Car World Cup, and has also presented the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour earlier this year.
Fans will still enjoy the excitable exuberance of Paul Jeffrey in the commentary box, with the long-standing TCR Europe commentator also a known voice for his coverage of the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour.
Qualifying and the races will be broadcast live on the TCR TV YouTube channel, and simultaneously broadcast as part of the series’ deal with leading digital motorsports broadcaster DAZN.
The TCR Europe series title will be decided in Spain, with a new champion guaranteed, with 20-year-old Italian touring car star Marco Butti tied for the top spot with second-generation touring car racer Eric Gené, with the 18-year-old looking to win the title in his first season at his home race - while ten other drivers are also in contention for the crown.
