Nic Taylor will become the first Canadian driver to race in the TCR Europe Touring Car Series, when he makes his debut next month at the series' season finale at Valencia.
Taylor is a front-runner in this year's TCR Italy championship, running third in the classification after two podium finishes in the first three events of the season.
The 18-year-old will race with the PMA Motorsport team which will run an Audi RS 3 LMS for him at the Spanish circuit.
"I’m really looking forward to joining TCR Europe in Valencia to give me a feel for what it’s like racing against even higher level drivers to further develop my skills," said Taylor.
"TCR Italy is quite an aggressive championship with a large competitive grid, so it has been excellent for me, allowing me to quickly develop the skills necessary for success in touring car racing. I’m confident that the Italian series has been very helpful overall at preparing me to compete in TCR Europe at the end of this year.
"I have already been doing countless laps at Valencia on my custom World Pro Racing simulator to get an understanding of the track before we arrive."
