Despite a slight improvement in the foggy weather conditions at the Nürburgring and the subsequent resumption of track activities at the German circuit, the TCR Europe Stewards have taken the decision to postpone today’s Race 1, which was scheduled to start at 17.00 CEST, until tomorrow at 17.50.

The Stewards’ decision reads: “After receiving the information from the Organiser ITR concerning the timetable of Saturday and Sunday, the Stewards hereby notify the competitors and drivers that, due to extraordinary weather conditions, Race 1 cannot be carried out. The session is postponed until Sunday 28^th of August at 17.50. In accordance with art.8 of the TCR Europe Sporting Regulations, the Stewards are adapting the race format of the Nürburgring Round to the time schedule by cancelling Race 2.”

The rescheduled Race 1 will, therefore, replace Race 2 in the timetable. It will be streamed live on the TCR Europe social media channels and on the TCR Portal tcr-series.tv
