Petroli Firenze will be the presenting partner of the TCR Europe Touring Car Series season opener at the Mugello International Circuit later this month.
The company originates from the Florentine region where the race takes place on March 20-22. The road bitumen specialist firm with 40 years of experience will feature as the presenting partner of the first race of the year, marking the start of the TCR Europe series' 11th year of competition.
"We're delighted to have Petroli Firenze onboard for the first race of the new season," said series promoter Rubén Fernández.
"It's fantastic for us to have a respected local business as well as a true supporter of the TCR concept with us as the series races for the first time at Mugello."
Petroli Firenze president Sandro Pelatti added:
"For Petroli Firenze, being a partner of the TCR Europe event at Mugello represents something truly special. We are talking about an iconic circuit, a symbol of our territory, and a championship that I have followed with great passion for many years.
"Motorsport is an environment that brings together technology, competitiveness and team spirit — values that we feel are very close to our company. Supporting this event means contributing to bringing a great international sporting spectacle to the fans."
"We are very happy to collaborate with TCR Europe to make the Mugello weekend a memorable experience for drivers, teams and all the fans."
An experienced racing driver himself, Pelatti will also take part in the races during the weekend in a car which will be run by PMA Motorsport, competing as a wild card entry alongside Nicola Baldan and Nicolas Taylor.
Pelatti joined the grid from the fourth event of the season at the nearby Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli last year, winning both races in the Diamond Best Trophy category.
