Luca Engstler: "I am super-happy, what a race! It's been really crazy, but it's great for the team, which has waited for this first win for a long time and for the championship. When I was behind Tom Coronel, I was quiet because I knew he had a penalty, but then it was a great fight with several guys, on a track that was quite slippery. I thought the car would perform better than it did on the wet, so it was tough. I am sorry for the contact with Filippi, but really he turned into me and I was on my line."
Josh Files: "I had a good launch but then I got a little bit stuck and sent off into the grass in turn 2, so I lost a lot of positions and had to recover positions one by one. The rain helped, as I know the track quite well and I could also benefit from the others' mistakes. It was definitely an entertaining race, Touring Car racing as it should be and as we love it, with a lot of close fighting, but always fair-play and respectful."
Alex Morgan: "I had a bad start and had to fight hard to be back at the top, but my pace was good. It wasn't for a couple of laps after the safety-car and then it all came back. Final laps were really hectic, with great overtakes. Someone tapped me into the gravel in turn 3 but luckily I could come back and save the podium finish, which is great. It was a long time coming..."
