Julien Briché (winner): "It wasn't as easy as it could seem. Before the race and in the first laps, there was some uncertainty with regard to the track conditions, as the surface was drying but still very damp. Still, my start was good. Then, there was the safety-car period, and you never know how this will affect the car, but the restart was good and eventually I could pull away a bit and build enough gap. It's nice to take a fourth win this season, but I don't think the situation for me will change a lot in the standings, I don't think I can really stay in contention for the title fight given the points gap."
Andreas Bäckman (second): "I am happy with the result and the with how the car was working, the team has ben doing an excellent job. My start was not perfect, then I outbraked myself a bit at the first corner. The track was still very humid and it was difficult to judge. I found myself in third and from then on I tried to keep the pace and see how things could develop. I had good speed but not enough to pass the guys in front, so I am happy with the result."
Santiago Urrutia (third): "A podium finish is a good result, I am happy with it. My start wasn't great, so it was difficult to recover, but I could retrieve my P4. Not much happened after the restart of the race. We had opted for very little aerodynamic drag to be faster on the straights but it didn't bring the expected results. Still, we bag some heavy points and this is positive."
