Nicolas Baert (1st): “This is exactly what we wanted after yesterday. I cannot ask for more. Pole here, at mine and the team’s home racetrack, with the Audi - I’m really happy with the job we did. For Audi, it was a really good Qualifying, with all three cars in the top four. I think it will be really good for us in the races; this result confirms the work we have done in the preparation for this weekend and so I’m very happy for me and for the team.”
Mat’o Homola (2nd): “I’m absolutely happy with P2 because we didn’t have a very good weekend in Paul Ricard and we finally did a good result here in Qualifying. I like this track; it’s very challenging, especially the chicanes and braking points. Congrats to Nicolas, he was unbeatable, unfortunately for us. I did my best but from second position to sixth it’s very tight, which is nice in Touring Car racing, but I will focus now on Race 1 and to have a good start and manage my brakes and tyres. I will fight to win but we will see. Okay, I grabbed some points in Paul Ricard but for me the championship fight starts now.”
Mehdi Bennani (3rd): “I’m more than happy with P3, especially considering the weight that I have to carry this weekend. It wasn’t looking like a great weekend before we arrived here, but now to have the three Audi cars in the top four is very good. I’m really proud of Nicolas and Sami because they made a really professional job. I’m happy because even tomorrow we will be together on the grid. The Comtoyou team did a fantastic job - they are at their home track, and to have Nicolas, a Belgian driver, on the top is something great for the country.”
