RC2 Racing Team has revealed its three drivers for the 2026 TCR Europe Touring Car Series, with Felipe Fernández and Víctor Fernández returning for the Spanish team, with Victor Chan Chun Leung joining as a newcomer to both the team and the championship this year.
Felipe Fernández heads into his sixth year in the series after first making his debut at the end of 2021. The Spaniard, who claimed pole position at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit for the last two years, and was the 2024 Diamond Trophy champion, will be chasing the top step of the podium after three times finishing in third place.
Víctor Fernández returns for his second full season in the series, and the current Diamond Best Trophy champion will be motivated to move further up the grid and to more regularly finish in the points after a year of strong and consistent progression.
Victor Chan Chun Leung becomes the first driver from Hong Kong and China to race full-time in TCR Europe. Chan raced for two years in the TCR China championship, and made a pair of guest appearances in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour in 2024 and 2025 at the Zhuzhou circuit.
The team will field a trio of Italian touring car powerhouse JAS Motorsport's Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCRs for their programme in 2026.
Felipe Fernández:
"This is going to be my third full season in TCR Europe with the RC2 Racing Team and I hope to continue to improve as I have done every year. I learned a lot from last season and I'm still working on improving all those skills as a driver, that have been left behind a little bit.
"Improving on my 2025 results this year, given the spectacular level of drivers on the grid in 2026 will be a success. Ready to rock!"
Víctor Fernández:
"I learned a lot and really enjoyed last season, The level out there is incredibly high, which makes it a tough challenge but also a great chance to grow. This year I just want to keep pushing, learning and enjoying racing at the highest level.”
Victor Chan Chun Leung:
"I am glad and happy to race this year with RC2 Racing Team in TCR Europe. To race in this series was my target when I first started TCR racing. This will only be my third year so my goal is simple, enjoy the racing and learn new things every time on the track. I hope to score some points and gain good positions every weekend."
