ALM Motorsport has confirmed that Ruben Volt will return with them for the 2026 TCR Europe Touring Car Series, at the same time announcing that Mike Halder will join them, returning to the championship after three years away.

Hot on the heels of confirming it will also compete in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour with last year's champion, Jenson Brickley, ALM Motorsport has confirmed a robust driver line-up for its 2026 programme in TCR Europe. The Estonian squad will field an all-star three-car line-up, with Max Hart already on board.

After a stunning debut at the end of 2023, 19-year-old Ruben Volt enters the 2026 season as the driver with the joint-most victories on the grid. His record includes two wins and two pole positions last year, as well as a dominant display at the season finale in Barcelona.

Volt recovered after a slow start to the season to become a title threat during the final rounds and will be aiming to hit the ground running this year.

Joining him will be a stalwart of TCR Europe, Mike Halder. The German driver returns after a three-year absence with two TCR Spain drivers' championship titles to his record.

Halder, 30, famously led the TCR Europe standings going into the 2020 finale but missed out on the title after a chaotic final event. Halder continued to be a front-runner in 2022 while simultaneously embarking on a successful programme in the TCR Denmark series, where he was a contender for the drivers' title for four consecutive years.
