19-year-old Estonian driver Ruben Volt will return to battle for the 2025 TCR Europe series title with reigning teams’ champions ALM Motorsport, campaigning in a Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR.
Volt was a title challenger throughout 2024, only falling out of contention due to a calendar clash late in the year with the TCR Italy championship, which he eventually lost out only on a tiebreak.
For 2025, Volt will be a clear contender for the TCR Europe drivers’ title. ALM Motorsport will also be frontrunners to win their second consecutive teams’ crown, though both will face tougher conditions this year, with 23 cars, and ten competitive teams entered for TCR Europe’s tenth season.
“I’m excited to continue the journey with ALM this year again for the teams’ title defence,” said Volt. “The competition looks tougher than ever and I am excited for the challenge ahead. Bring on Portimão.”
“2024 was an incredible success for the team and the drivers,” said team principal Martin Laur. “We’ll try to keep up the momentum also in 2025. The competition in TCR Europe looks really high this year, but we are ready for it.”
