Samuel Sládečka replaces Homola in Barcelona

Samuel Sládečka will be the driver replacing Mat'o Homola at HYUNDAI | Janík Motorsport in the TCR Europe season finale at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya over the weekend of October 15th/16th. The 28-year-old Slovak will take the wheel of one of the team's Hyundai Elantra N cars alongside Jáchym Galáš.

Sládečka's previous experience in Touring Car competition dates back to 2014, when he finished fourth in the TC2 class of the FIA European Touring Car Cup driving an Alfa Romeo 156. Since then, he has mainly competed in GT and Sportscar categories. Homola, who has been forced by a wrist injury to take a break from racing, was replaced by Václav Janík in the previous TCR Europe event at Monza.
