Sandro Pelatti will make his return to the TCR Europe series this weekend with PMA Motorsport, after last racing at the 2024 season finale at Valencia, joining his regular TCR Italy team-mate Nicolas Taylor on the grid this weekend at Misano.

Pelatti will stand in for TCR Europe’s most recent race winner Felice Jelmini, who has other commitments this weekend, at the wheel of one of the team’s two Audi RS 3 LMSs at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

The 57-year-old was in action only last week in the TCR Italy championship, supporting the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour weekend. He’ll be eligible for the Diamond Best Trophy class, competing against Victor Fernández, and Jean-Laurent and Pierre-Arnaud Navarro.

“I am very happy to join the TCR Europe series here in Misano, especially this year with this amazing grid,” said Pelatti.

“I can’t wait to go back on track after last weekend in Monza, I will give it all and try to do my best with PMA Motorsport.”
