South Korean team Solite Indigo Racing will compete in the TCR Europe series for the first time this season, running a pair of Hyundai Elantra N TCRs for rising talents Junesung Park and Junui Park.
The team brings the Hyundai brand back to the TCR Europe grid for the first time in two years with a two-car effort, with proven drivers Junui and Junesung Park. The team has been racing for two competitive seasons in the TCR Italy championship, where the team’s two drivers were regular podium finishers, and also both won a race in the competitive Italian series in 2024.
This year, both Junesung and Junui Park will race in a regional TCR category for the first time, joining the relaunched TCR Europe series, which gets underway at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal on April 26-27.
Junui Park will also be eligible for the new TCR Europe young drivers’ trophy, for drivers aged 21 and under.
“I'd like to improve in all aspects of my driving throughout the season and become a more well rounded driver,” said Junesung Park. “I'll give it my best possible shot to be competitive and fight for the championship in TCR Europe.”
“It is my goal to get strong results this season in TCR Europe, whilst working on improving myself, and good teamwork and hard work will hopefully lead to this,” said Junui Park.
Team principal Jae Woo Lee added: “It is perceived that TCR Europe is the most competitive regional series in the TCR category, so it is a necessary stage for us to take the next leap forward to continue our growth. In order to bring out the best from both drivers throughout the season, the whole team will cut no corners whatever in getting the highest performance.”
