Isidro Callejas (1^st): “It was a really, really good victory! The tradition of the team is to double win here, so I need to keep that up and work hard for tomorrow to see if we can do it again! It was a really, really good race; we have a really good car and some really strong pace. Hopefully for tomorrow we can continue this and make up some ground. It is difficult for TCR cars to pass, but I’m going to work hard and try my best.”

Franco Girolami (2^nd): “I have to say I’m not so happy with myself. I apologise to all my team at Comtoyou Racing, we had the race in our pocket and I made a mistake on the last lap, I went for the brake and the brake was not there but it was my mistake, nothing to say, and I’m sorry for all the team. In the end, I scored a lot of points for the championship, so I need to see the positives that have come from this race.”

Josh Files (3^rd): “The ‘first podium of the year’ feeling is really good. It all came from the start to be honest – I made a really good start which gave me the position, but to be honest I couldn’t have done it without my teammates, as my car is pretty slow this weekend. They helped me in qualifying with the slipstream, which worked, and then in the race I had a problem, and for the last three laps my performance totally went and Nicola probably could have overtaken me but stayed behind. Without the three of us as a team, I don’t think we would have had a podium, so I have to thank them and the team for this result.”
