Following Race 1 at Le Castellet, the TCR Europe Stewards decided to swap the positions between Sami Toufik and Mat’o Homola who had finished in eighth and ninth respectively.
Their investigation ended in blaming the young Moroccan for the collision he had with Homola, and so Taoufik was given a two-second penalty, which meant the pair’s finishing positions were reversed: Homola eighth and Taoufik ninth.
The Stewards investigated on two other incidents.
The collision at the start between Martin Ryba – who retired with a broken suspension – and Gilles Colombani, resulted in a suspended three-place grid penalty for Ryba.
While the contacts between Pepe Oriola and Jessica Bäckman while they were fighting for P3 resulted in no further action.
