Target Competition to run three Hyundai cars

Target Competition announced that it will field three Hyundai i30 N TCR cars in the 2018 TCR Europe Series.
The South Tyrol-based outfit is arguably one of the most successful teams in TCR racing, having claimed the Drivers’ and Teams’ titles in the inaugural TCR International Series with Stefano Comini (2015) and twice the ADAC TCR Germany Drivers’ championship with Josh Files (2016 and 2017).

“We are really thankful for two successful years in the ADAC TCR Germany. The decision to switch to TCR Europe was taken upon driver requests and we are happy to announce that Reece Barr stays on board in our new challenge,” said Team Owner Andreas Gummerer. “We began talking to Hyundai last year at the TCR Europe Trophy in Adria. We were impressed by the performance of the car and are confident that we have a very competitive package.”
The drivers of the other two Hyundai i30 N TCR cars are yet to be announced.
