Following a sensational 2025 season that featured an expanded grid and intense competition—including a title fight heading for a dramatic conclusion this weekend in Barcelona—the championship is excited to announce its 2026 calendar.
The refreshed calendar will feature new venues and returning favorites. The season will kick off earlier than this year, in March, and conclude a month later, in October.
The 11th season of TCR Europe will begin at Mugello in Italy, a brand-new track for the series. It will then return to the glamorous Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on May 15-17th, a perennial favorite on the series' calendar.
The series will then visit Circuit Paul Ricard in France from June 5-7, followed by the Hungaroring near Budapest on July 3-5th, which returns to the calendar for the first time since 2023.
After the summer break, the iconic Autodromo Nazionale Monza will host the penultimate event on September 25-27th, and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will once again host the season finale on October 23-25th.
The more evenly spread-out calendar will lead to a more consistent season. This will provide teams and drivers with valuable time to regroup between each round.
“We’re delighted to confirm our new calendar for 2026 ahead of this year’s final round, with which we end the season with our highest number of entries, and an incredible 12-way title battle,” said series promoter Rubén Fernández.
“After an incredibly successful season, with increased television coverage, a fast-growing fanbase and strong team engagement, and with what’s been the most exciting title battle in the series’ history, we’re looking forward to doing it all again with a new-style calendar, with both new circuits and old favourites - and we’ve already seen great interest from our existing teams and new ones to join us next year.”
