TCR Europe driver Nicolas Taylor became the first driver to claim four titles in two years as he won a second consecutive TCR Italy drivers' championship title last weekend at Misano.
The Canadian driver, who defended his TCR Italy title this year as well as taking part in his first full campaign in TCR Europe with PMA Motorsport, won the drivers' title for the second year in a row, defeating fellow TCR Europe racer Nicola Baldan this year, after last year defeating TCR Europe frontrunner Ruben Volt.
Taylor was one of 12 drivers to also go to the TCR Europe season finale at Barcelona last month in contention for the drivers' title, after a competitive season in the series.
Taylor's four-title achievement includes both of the overall drivers' titles in TCR Italy, as well as the 2024 rookie and 2025 under-25s titles, the first time this has been achieved in 11 years of TCR competition.
“It’s an incredible honor,” said Taylor. “Knowing that what we’ve done is now officially recognised as a world record is surreal. I’m grateful to PMA Motorsport, Audi, and everyone who’s helped make this possible. We’ve made racing history this year, and it’s still only the beginning for me”

“Nicolas has proven extraordinary maturity and consistency in his driving and his ability to adapt,” said Paolo Ansaloni, Team Principal at PMA Motorsport. “To make TCR history at just 19 years old is a testament to his focus, discipline, and racing abilities.”
