Team Clairet Sport to run four Peugeot cars

Team Clairet Sport is stepping up its efforts for the 2020 season and has confirmed a full-season four-car campaign in the TCR Europe series.
Driving the Peugeot 308 cars of the family team based in Clamart, in the suburbs of Paris, will be the Clairet siblings, Jimmy and Teddy, and gentlemen drivers Gilles Colombani and Stéphane Ventaja. All have previous experience in the TCR Europe, with the Clairet brothers having often showcased their speed and abilities.

Team Principal Jean-Marie Clairet stated: “We are delighted to confirm our 2020 programme and a further step-up in our efforts, despite the unforeseen situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is going to be a very busy few months for us, given also our presence in the French championship, but we can rely on the customer support put in place by Peugeot Sport, who will have an engineer and a spare parts truck at every round. There are small evolutions in the Peugeot 308 and we will be soon on track for some test days. After a very promising maiden season in TCR Europe last year, in which we have learnt a lot, we feel more prepared to face the series’ fierce competition. The goal is to make all our drivers progress and aim at some good results.”
