Jimmy and Teddy Clairet will race in the TCR Europe Series at the wheel of two Peugeot 308 TCR cars run by the family’s Team Clairet Sport that is managed by their father Jean-Marie, a former race winner in the Citroën, Peugeot and SEAT trophies.
Jean-Marie’s sons too have emerged as front-runners in the Renault Clio Cup and the Peugeot Racing Cup.
Jimmy, 28 years old, was classified third in the 2017 and 2018 Peugeot 308 Racing Cup, scoring five race wins. In 2016 he was one of the drivers selected by Peugeot Sport to drive the 308 in its maiden TCR appearance, at Spa-Francorchamps in the TCR International Series.
Teddy, 25 years old, is the reigning champion of the Peugeot 308 Racing Cup; after finishing runner up in 2017 he secured the 2018 title with six race wins.
The team will run a third 308 for a driver yet to be named.
