The calendar for the 2021 season is finalised

After the unveiling of the provisional dates in the early days of November, the promoter of the TCR Europe series has now finalised the calendar for the 2021 season.
The opening event has been postponed by three weeks, from April 16/18 to May 7/9 and will take place at the Slovakia Ring, while the championship will visit Monza at the end of September for the penultimate race meeting.
The fourth event at Spa-Francorchamps will be on July 29/31, supporting the Belgian 24-hour race once again, while the fifth event will be hosted on the Nürburgring’s Grand Prix circuit over the first weekend of September. The remaining dates and venues – Le Castellet, Zandvoort and Barcelona – remain those announced in November.

Promoter Paulo Ferreira explained: “We are very pleased to have managed to finalise the calendar before the Christmas break, and I wish to thank the local promoters for their cooperation. The addition of the Slovakia Ring and the Nürburgring to an already impressive list of glamorous venues makes us very proud. As for the postponement of the season’s opener, we have opted for this solution after talking to the teams, with the aim of granting them some more time for their preparation.”
Further news about the 2021 TCR Europe series will be communicated in due course.
