The Hyundai Elantra N TCR has officially joined the grid in the latest update to Gran Turismo 7.
While the South Korean powerhouse is already a staple in simulators like iRacing, RENNSPORT, Forza Motorsport, and RaceRoom Racing Experience, its arrival on PlayStation’s premier racing platform on January 29, 2026, marks a significant milestone for fans of the brand.
The Elantra has been a dominant force in TCR Europe since its 2021 debut. It found success immediately, securing a win during its first weekend with reigning champion Mehdi Bennani and Sébastien Loeb Racing. The model remained a title contender through 2022, narrowly missing out on the championship with 2019 winner Josh Files and Target Competition.
The car's winning pedigree continued last year, with Max Hart (Target Competition) and Junesung Park (Solite Indigo Racing) both taking trips to the top step of the podium. Alongside JSB Compétition, these teams maintain the Elantra’s reputation as an accomplished racing saloon in TCR Europe.
The Elantra currently stands as the only TCR-spec car in Gran Turismo 7. This sets it apart from other simulators, where rivals from Audi, CUPRA, and Honda are typically represented alongside Hyundai.
