Touring Car veteran Tom Coronel will compete again in the TCR Europe series; the Dutch driver will be again at the wheel of a Honda Civic Type R run by Belgium-based Boutsen Ginion Racing.
“I am looking forward to being able to race again and to continue the good co-operation with Boutsen Ginion Racing and Honda I have had for several years already,” Coronel said.
With twenty-four drivers from eleven countries and cars from five different brands in the field, there is no lack of variety in TCR Europe this year.
“A good battle is guaranteed! Moreover, there are drivers on the grid I have known for years from other series such as the WTCC or WTCR. Pepe Oriola, Mehdi Bennani, John Filippi: all of them I have been racing with for years and will now be meeting again here,” Coronel pointed out.
Just like in 2019, Coronel will split his efforts between TCR Europe and the WTCR and so he will compete in the European rounds of Paul Ricard, Spa-Francorchamps and Jarama.
