Dutch Touring Car superstar Tom Coronel will rejoin the TCR Europe championship for the two final events of the season.
After missing the previous three race meetings that were in clash with the WTCR, Coronel will compete this weekend at Spa-Francorchamps and then in the season finale at the wheel of the Boutsen Ginion Racing-run Honda Civic Type R.
Coronel had started the season in the TCR Europe opener at Le Castellet, where he was not lucky and retired in both races.
Things for him went much better in the WTCR, as he claimed his maiden victory in the FIA World Cup at the Slovakia Ring and achieved a few other good results that had elevated him to second in the standings before the latest event at the Hungaroring.
Following a difficult weekend in Hungary he has now dropped to sixth in the points, but is still in contention for a top-three finish.
