The Spanish team RC2 Racing has announced that it will enter two cars for the opening TCR Europe event at the Autodromo do Algarve in Portimão. Two Audi RS 3 LMS cars will be driven by Rubén and Felipe Fernández, who entered several rounds of the championship in 2022.

Neither driver entered the Portuguese event last year, but Felipe finished the season in 19^th place in the Drivers’ standings after tackling the Spa-Francorchamps, Monza and Barcelona rounds, in which his best result was a sixth place in Race 2 at Monza.

Rubén Fernández also contested the Belgian, Italian and Spanish events but was also entered for the Norisring round in Germany, ending the season in 29^th place in the standings. Both 38-year-old Felipe and 45-year-old Rubén will score points in the Diamond Trophy.
