Two rounds of the 2025 TCR Europe series will be eligible events for competitors from Germany to compete for the 2025 TCR Germany Trophy title, with prize money of 10,000 EUR on offer to the winner.
The new category has been launched this year and four global TCR events will count towards the award, with half of those rounds selected from the TCR Europe calendar.
Those rounds at the race weekend at Hockenheim on June 6-8, and at the Red Bull Ring in Austria on 5-7 September.
Competitors that are eligible are drivers of German nationality, or drivers who are entered by teams that hold a licence issued by the German Motorsport Authority, DMSB.
"There are several TCR cars in Germany and we felt it was time to spur competitors to use them," said WSC Group president Marcello Lotti.
"This new Trophy offers German drivers and teams the opportunity to race in proper TCR competitions and we are confident it could lead to the revival of the TCR Germany championship."
