Vedat Ali Dalokay will become the first Turkish driver to race in the TCR Europe series when he joins the field at the upcoming round of the series at Misano later in June, driving for the ALM Motorsport team in a Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR.

The 36-year-old has experience at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli from his years competing in both the Coppa Italia Turismo and TCR Italy championships in 2022 and 2023.

Misano will mark his return to TCR competition after a year away, now competing in the latest specification Civic built by Italian touring car powerhouse JAS Motorsport. Dalokay will then also complete the season for the Estonian team, racing at the Red Bull Ring and Barcelona in September.
