Josh Files (fastest in FP2): “We had an ECU problem in FP1 and then the gearbox actuator was over-pressuring at the start of FP2, so it was only in the second half of FP2 that I was able to set decent times. I must have set the slowest-ever lap time around Monza in FP1! Good to get some good laps under my belt, but I only did a couple of flying laps because of yellow flags, so I think we’re a little bit behind the others.”

Jean-Karl Vernay (fastest in FP1): “For sure we are one of the main contenders here. After a track like Hungaroring, where we were nowhere, here we know we will be fast. I have no problems, I am happy with both Free Practice sessions so let’s keep going like this.”
