The WSC Group’s technical department has issued the TCR Balance of Performance for the 2020 season. However, the Bulletin #3 that comes into force from this weekend remains provisional until the tests and checks to assess the initial BoP for the season will be completed. These have been currently suspended due to the coronavirus emergency and will be resumed as soon as it will be permitted by Governments’ decrees.
Compared to the previous list, issued with Bulletin #14 at the end of October 2019, in Bulletin #3/2020 the Audi RS 3 LMS SEQ was granted a weight break of ten kilos, as its BoP went down from -30kg to -40kg for a total Minimum Racing Weight of 1225kg.
On the basis of their recent performance in TCR Malaysia and TC America, both the Hyundai TCR models – i30 N and Veloster N – were imposed an additional 20kg, that brings their BoP ballast up to 40kg for a total Minimum Racing Weight of 1305kg.
The Maximum Boost Pressure of the Hyundai cars’ was also revised.
